Dr. Renée Balthrop is a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice in Media, Pennsylvania. She has studied extensively with Jungian analyst Marion Woodman and has participated in numerous intensives and dream seminars. She is also a graduate of the first BodySoulRythms leadership training program. Dr Balthrop is also a poet and singer. She has published a chap book of her poetry entitled "Voice Work".

Education
She has earned a PhD in psychology from Temple University, a masters degree from Bryn Mawr College, and a BA from Drew University. She has studied extensively with Jungian analyst Marion Woodman and has participated in numerous intensives and dream seminars with her. She is also a graduate of the first BodySoulRythms leadership training program. She has a certficate in EMDR. She has studied Jungian dream interpretation with Marion Woodman, Stephen Aizenstadt, PhD and Robert Bosnak. Current Research
Dissertation research was on Body Image in Anorexic, Bulimic and Normal Weight Women, developing the concept of the Body Narrative. She worked as a research psychologist on the genetics of mental disorders at the University of Pennsylvania. Her current focus is on the process of dream tending developed by Stephen Aizenstadt, PhD, founder and current President of Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara, California.
