I am a clinical psychologist. I completed my clinical internship and postdoctoral work at Pennsylvania Hospital, and I previously worked as a psychologist and Director of Psychotherapy Services at Penn Medicine's Outpatient Psychiatry Center at 3535 Market Street. Currently, I work at the John Templeton Foundation, where I am a Senior Program Officer, and I have a private psychotherapy practice.
In my psychotherapy practice, I work from a psychodynamic perspective. I strive to conceptualize my cases (adolescent, adult, and couples) from a psychodynamic-informed developmental and relational perspective. However, the needs and personalities of my patients informs and shapes our work together. With some patients, I find it necessary to use cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, emotionally-focused, or family systems techniques to best help them move towards their goals.
