Dr. Cording is a licensed psychologist in the state of Pennsylvania. She received her Doctorate in Psychology at The George Washington University Professional Psychology Program. She completed her internship at Swarthmore College CAPS and her postdoctoral residency at Lehigh University Counseling and Psychological Services. She has been working in college counseling for over five years in addition to her private practice. She has received extensive training in conducting group psychotherapy and is currently the Assistant Group Coordinator at Temple University Tuttleman Counseling Services. She previously served as the Group Coordinator at West Chester University’s Department of Counseling and Psychological Services. Dr. Cording is also a Director-at-Large for PSPP and the Brunch Coordinator. At the core of her therapeutic approach is the understanding that a trusting, open, and collaborative therapeutic relationship is essential to promoting and sustaining change. She has extensive experience working with college and graduate students, but also works with adolescents and adults of all ages. Dr. Cording provides individual, couples, and group psychotherapy.
Dr. Cording runs an ongoing interpersonal process group with Dr. Jim Bleiberg in Haverford, PA on Wednesday evenings. This group consists of thoughtful, bright, and insightful individuals who are interested in deepening their understanding of themselves and their relationships with others.
