Donna J Harris, LCSW is the Clinical Director of Intercultural Counselling, LLC, located in the western suburbs of Philadelphia. For over 30 years she has been helping people regain a sense of who they are and has empowered them to succeed in their personal and professional relationships. She received her Social Work degree from Adelphi University and completed Psychoanalytic certification at Manhattan Institute. Her experience spans work with addictions, trauma, mood disorders and the impact of systemic oppression. She practices relational psychoanalysis and individual psychotherapy with adults and supervises mental health professionals at all levels of experience.
She uses a trauma-focused, relational lens in her work with individuals, couples and groups. In addition, she has taught at Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research for the past 15 years: Clinical Practice, Power, Privilege & Oppression and Mindful Facilitation: Engaging Difference. In recent years, she has broadened her practice to include customized training for mental health professionals and educators in Intercultural Communications Skills.
