Eric Spiegel, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist in private practice in Bryn Mawr & Philadelphia, PA and the Practice Director of Attune Philadelphia Therapy Group. Dr. Spiegel is a Past-President of the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis (ASCH), a national organization consisting of 2,000 licensed health and mental health care providers utilizing hypnosis in treatment. He is a fellow of ASCH, and was earlier awarded the Early Career Achievement Award by the society in 2012. Dr. Spiegel is the co-author of the book 'Attachment in Group Psychotherapy,' published by the American Psychological Association. He has also published on attachment and hypnosis in the International Journal of Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis (IJCEH) and American Journal of Clinical Hypnosis (AJCH). Dr. Spiegel specializes in working with anxiety, psychosomatic disorders, trauma, and relationship issues. He has taught undergraduate and graduate psychology courses at Drexel University, James Madison University, Lafayette College and the University of Maryland, and enjoys teaching internationally on a wide range of subjects, including attachment and hypnotherapy.
