Dr. Wertheimer specializes in working with children, adolescents, couples, and families on a wide range of presenting concerns including, but not limited to grief and bereavement, depression, anxiety, family and marital relationships, communication, school-based concerns, parenting approaches, and behavioral concerns in children and adolescents.

Dr. Wertheimer maintains a private psychotherapy practice in the Philadelphia area. She also serves as an Adjunct Professor in the School of Graduate Studies at Chestnut Hill College. Dr. Wertheimer is a proud member of the American Psychological Association, the Pennsylvania Psychological Association, and the Philadelphia Society for Psychoanalytic Psychology.
